We are a party and wedding band called Formation! We’re based in London and made up of some of the most amazing singers and musicians travelling worldwide to bring you the best party. We have all been working on functions and corporate parties for years and have now produced this bespoke new function band for hire using all of our experience in the corporate, party and wedding market. The energy in Formation is just second to none! We’ve just recently finished working on a huge high-end event with our 12 piece line up and an all weekend convention and the reviews have been amazing! As a collective, we pride ourselves on working with and playing for huge celebrity stars including; Stormy, Adele, Dua Lipa, Rod Stewart, Ellie Goulding, Ollie Murs, Craig David, Emeli Sande, Seal and more! Many of our singers and musicians that we have onboard our team are lucky enough to travel the world with these music artists. So we really are lucky enough to have the best musicians!
The music we play ranges from 70s party tunes all the way through the 80s, 90s, 00s and current day. Expect pop music, disco, nostalgic throwback dance songs, RnB, singalong anthems, huge popular hits. You name it and we can play it. We also have some incredible mash ups and medleys to keep your guests and friends dancing all night to our live music.
Formation are not only a full live band ranging between a 6-12 piece but also we also have our DJ Live set up as well which brings you an option of having our in-house DJ with our live singers, percussionist and sax player who bring you hit after hot and can freely roam and join you on the dancefloor to create that amazing live party atmosphere. We have some new footage of this too so watch out for Formation DJ Live for your corporate party.
On top of that our DJ also plays through any breaks and can supply a DJ set after the live music has finished into the early hours when the dancefloor is still full!
